Library Programs
The library has the following programs.
Story Time is a half-hour school-year program for all children. This is a drop-in program that runs every other week September to March on Monday nights and Tuesday mornings. Stop by to pick up a schedule or check our calendar.
The Summer Reading Program runs 5 weeks in June and July for Preschool through 6th Grade.
The Teen Summer Reading Program runs 5 weeks in June and July for 7th through 12th Grade.
The Adult Summer Reading Program is a summer reading program for Adults. It runs concurrently with the Children's summer reading program.
The Junior Librarians program is a summer program for children 10 to 15 years of age to volunteer hours at the library during June and July. Application process conducted in April. Check the calendar for details.
Senior Citizens Bingo is the 4th Monday of the month unless that day is a holiday then it is the 3rd Monday of the month, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Quilting group meets Thursdays 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Bring your current project to work with other quilters.
The library hosts Special Programs occasionally. Past programs have included: knitting classes, crochet classes, author talks, nutrition classes and gardening classes. If you are interested in presenting a program or have suggestions for future programs, please contact us for times and availability.
